I love WF when they have sales plus Amazon prime. Food quality is great and so are the shampoo and conditioner choices. My personal favorite is Alba shampoo and conditioner bc it works excellent and smells amazing. What’s good for our health is here and I appreciate the products. This location has hassle free and free parking. And you take an elevator to the store. It’s clean and well organized. The meat and fish and deli and bakery all are great. I feel better eating here. Plus free WiFi. And seating for the safe with charge stations. Plus you can do Amazon returns here. Convenient.

This used to be my favorite Whole Foods but the quality has been in decline lately. I can confirm what others recently been saying: the bakery has been not making bread for a while. Always one or two pieces and that’s it. Also the freezer ice cream section is a mess, look at all the frost and what’s up with all the upside down ice cream containers, is someone doing this on purpose? Unfortunately I’ll be avoiding this place now whenever I can.

Their deli counter will do everything in their power to sell you the worst product available. This is one photo of many good faith instances. Go literally anywhere else to buy meat, you’ll be happier.

I had a meeting in Chicago as a first time visitor. I was hungry but traveling alone as a woman I wasnt really wanting to explore to find a food place, find parking, etc at nearly 9 o'clock at night in an unfamiliar place. Whole foods has an underground garage, so I parked, went right up and got some food to take back to the Hotel. Everyone was nice. The atmosphere was calm and the place was clean. It had what I needed and I was good to go.

Another Update: It's 5pm on a Wednesday and there are zero roast chickens. Who is managing this store?? This location is gonna go out of business. They are leaving a ton of money on the table and shoppers are routinely unable to get what they need. Update: The bakery has been down for weeks. No bread available other than the branded, stuff. I appreciate that it may be hard to find a baker, but there has to be a better solution than simply having the bakery produce nothing at all. This is ridiculous. I shop at this Whole Foods location regularly and, overall, I’m pleased—especially compared to other options in the area. Stores like Mariano’s and Jewel tend to carry heavily processed, chemical-laden products I’m not interested in buying. That said, I’m writing this in the hope that store management actually reads it, because there’s a broader issue that’s worth addressing. Whole Foods markets itself as a premium grocery store—and with that comes an expectation of ease, calm, and a certain quality of experience. Unfortunately, this location often feels tense and chaotic, largely due to the behavior and energy of the staff and shoppers. Let me explain. The produce stockers frequently look irritated and rushed. The employees fulfilling online orders block aisles, seem visibly annoyed by the presence of in-store customers, and move through the store with a kind of territorial urgency. Most of the checkout clerks are friendly, but a few behave as if having to interact with customers is a burden. What this store is dealing with is something that’s increasingly common: employees who seem to dislike their jobs and resent the very customers who make those jobs possible. There’s an ambient tone of aggression and impatience that simply doesn’t belong in a store positioned as high-end. The environment should feel open, relaxed, and welcoming—not adversarial. To give a specific example: the bakery. It used to be easy to get a loaf of bread sliced by a staff member. Now, the slicer has been moved out onto the floor for customers to use themselves. I don’t mind that in principle—but it reflects a broader attitude: that customer interaction is to be minimized, avoided if possible. That unwillingness to engage—even in simple ways—is exactly the kind of thing that erodes the experience. I truly hope management walks the floor, observes the energy of the space, and asks whether it’s aligned with the values Whole Foods claims to represent.

Whole Foods is my go-to store here in West Loop. The store is clean and spacious and they have various selection of every single product. Clean and fresh produce available, sometimes things are not stocked so it can be a hit or miss. I visit Whole Foods once a week and it’s always clean compared to the other grocery stores in the neighborhood. Price is decent given the quality. Employees are friendly and helpful. Also, there is an Amazon return drop box available, so really convenient location.

Solid location with ample underground parking. Lower ceilings make the store feel a little bit tight, but the selection overall is very good.

The store is very clean. The staff are helpful. Clean restrooms, you do need a code from customer service to get in. It was my first time at Whole Foods and I was very happy with my experience.
