So far, I've been waiting well over a month for a part. I bought the brand new ACiQ-36-HPC Extreme Series. It worked for a few minutes and then broke. I've been without heat or air for 2 months. It's disappointing and frustrating. Update still waiting! I also put a review on their website product listingbut it didn't get posted. It's weird. There are only 5 star reviews and nothing else. Pic below...hmmm

If I were HVAC Direct I would not want me to provide a public feedback opportunity. I paid for my unit in March. Did not receive it until the last week of May. This transaction was supposed to save me money but ultimately ended up costing me thousands more because of loss of time. Ended up with an unused curb that they will not return because they have no value for the 7 hundred dollar piece of equipment that I’m stuck with throwing out. Would I do business with HVAC Direct again? Absolutely a 100% NO. Big regrets for giving them the chance. I should have returned the equipment when it finally arrived after already making 2 payments, with damage to the unit and placed on a broken pallet, while I wasn’t even home to accept the delivery. They gave a small discount for the damage but ultimately like I mentioned, this transaction costed me thousands more than I should have paid. My advice, choose wisely and explore other options.

I ordered one unit on the recommendation of my Electrician. the salesperson was great really went through everything with me and ordered the product. delivery very easily. The only issue was it was the wrong product. It didn't have a heat pump. HVAC Direct made it right I have been waiting three weeks to get this installed but all through the process we were having an issue with my email which the Customer Service rep Brittany figured out. Once we did that everything moved along easily, but it was still a fight trying to get the information back-and-forth. I will buy more units from them. The customer service was very good despite the glitches

I ordered two ACIQ extreme heat pumps and matching air handlers which if they live up to their advertised levels of performance, will be great. The customer service has been good, tech assistance OK too. The one shortcoming so far has been in the Chinese to English documentation provided with the units. Some information is not clear, and calls to Customer Service are needed to clarify, which was done professionally by the team at HVAC Direct. The one question they were short on was the air filter requirements relating to size. The two air handlers we purchased have no backside lip to support the filter, and the installation manual doesn't provide any guide to what filter to buy. Tech support struggled to find any info on this, and I suggest fabricating a small 1/2"x 1/2" lip in the rear of the air handler where the filter fits to support the rear of the filter and better seal it in place so air doesn't leak around it at that point. This observation relates to the ACIQ-48-AHB and ACIQ-48-HPB which so far operate beautifully. We're very pleased with the comfort, low noise level, and features inherent in the system. If the directions are followed and you are competent mechanically, installation is simple, direct, clear and flawless. The equipment fired right up, did what it was supposed to do, and provides a new level of comfort so far (we've not used the heat function yet as we're in NC in May). Other than that the ACIQ Customer Service has always been responsive and on our most recent call Amanda was professional, courteous, and provided the information requested promptly during the several times I called requesting information on my order. There was one glitch where a tech was disconnected and never called back, but that was the outlier, not the norm, during our inquiries to Customer Service.

Received item in a large box, too big for the item which bounced around with no additional packing to keep the item secure. Item would not connect with my thermostat, so am returning it for a refund. I was able to keep my original sensor working when I installed lithium batteries rather than alkaline style batteries.

Ordered more than $15,000 in AC equipment. 5 ton central unit (in/out), 2 ductless. One of the accessories I ordered was a Heating Coil (emergency heat)...it took 3 attempts to get a heating coil which would fit in the unit they sold me..over 2 months later and after more than $1000 in expenses to bring out the installation company because each time the part was not correct. Begged them to check with their supplier before they sent each one, nothing but lip service. Thinking it was a "one off" on that part, I gave them one more chance. I was still waiting for the 2nd part (see above), and thought, maybe this was isolated because this company came recommended from someone I trust. Final straw..tried to make a return within the return window, and according to their guidelines. Took more than 6 calls. Managers always busy. More than 4 different people sending emails asking if I needed anything, which I replied I need to make a return. Finally sent RMA for the return. My strong advice. Everyone wants to save money...but I would say you better be very good and know their products better than they do for this to make sense. You are MUCH better off going local and knowing you can get good service and expertise as they really don't have it internally. We will see when it comes to warranty if they have integrity.

There was a slight problem with my order after it was delivered. I reached out and they immediately went to work and fixed the problem. Within a 24 hour period the problem was resolved and questions I hadn't even thought of were answered. Very professional and very quick.
