Absolutely horrendous company!!! Purchased $6k+ in appliances directly from LG. The delivery was over one month late. When they finally arrived, 2 of the 3 appliances had cosmetic damage. I paid for installation and haul away for old appliances, but their delivery company (RXO) said they do not install them because its a liability, so they just dropped them in my living room and said another team would be out to install them. But that never happened. During delivery RXO contacted LG to let them know the items were damaged, we spoke to them on the phone, sent pictures of the damage. I was told an LG rep would be in touch to deliver a replacement OR to repair the damaged door on the dishwasher and refrigerator. Here we are 6 weeks later.. and NONE of this has happened. Their customer service (if you can even call it that!??) is BY FAR the worst I have ever encountered. Multiple calls about replacing or repairing the appliances, but every time I call I'm on hold for well over an hour and just get bounced from dept. to dept. to dept. However, they CAN SEE in the system my items were delivered damaged but NO ONE can connect me to the person I actually need to speak with, so I go around in circles and stuck in Limbo. It's the most incompetent customer service I have ever experienced!! I have sent numerous emails as well, but never received a single response to any of them. I've been told a manager would call me back, but that never happened either. I was a fan of LG but I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM THEM AGAIN. And lastly, the items I bought went on sale 3 days after my purchase, I was supposed to receive a $600 credit for the price difference, but that has NOT happened either. I"M DONE. Today I just filed a case with the Attorney General's Consumer Division to get this matter resolved. LG deserves ZERO stars, one is too much! LG needs to fire their CEO and completely overhaul their logistics and customer service! This has been a nightmare beyond my wildest dreams... AND on top of all this their items do not perform as advertised. Many appliances have faulty parts, but they don't tell consumers or recall the items. Look it up - they have a federal class action lawsuit against them for it! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Do NOT purchase an LG refrigerator! Purchased brand new LG refrigerator with the craft icemaker but defective since delivered. Purchased LG refrigerator Order #200118028250350112 from Lowe's in Bradley Illinois on February 1, 2025, and delivered February 7 2025. Since plugged in, the craft icemaker never worked. Contacted LG support to send notice, and after numerous runarounds, a new craft icemaker delivered over a month later for self repair replacement per LG. The craft icemaker is still not working, and LG contacted once again. Numerous LG tickets open, including the alleged highest escalation of a " Presidential Liaison," and still will not replace the refrigerator. An "LG Tech" is now involved to confirm the defective unit whenever they show up or add replacement parts to a brand new but defective refrigerator. Lowe's contacted and no help at all even though they sell and support this LG product inside their store. This is still an ongoing issue and a waste of $2000 hard earned money. Customers, please read this and hopefully help with your decision for a new fridge, LG President Chang has a false LG statement on their website - we are living proof the statement is false and very disappointed in LG. Do not buy from Lowe's and do not purchase LG. Update March 21 2025 - the so called Presidential Liaison called and would hang up when we answered for a total of 5 times on March 20 2025. Still ongoing. Lowe's contacted again and allegedly will be escalated. Stand by for my next update. BTW - numerous LG correspondences included in our ongoing LG ticket. I am waiting g to see the generic response about a private message to @LGGSUPPORT even though LG has all if our information. Do NOT Purchase LG products!

I am writing to request immediate service for my LG dishwasher (Model LDTH5554S, Serial #4017KWVZ12529) which is currently displaying an AE error code, indicating an internal leak or moisture issue. Despite following all troubleshooting steps and waiting over 48 hours after a recent professional cleaning, the unit still fails to function properly. This dishwasher was purchased on September 7, 2024. I am very disappointed in the lack of response I have received so far. I have already submitted two prior email requests, yet this issue has not been handled appropriately. As a loyal LG customer, I expected better service and resolution.

We purchased a brand new LG refrigerator in May 2023. On June 14, 2025, we went to get food out of our freezer and noticed it was warm. Later that day an error code showed up on the fridge, stating compressor was out. Since it is under warranty, we filed a claim with LG on 6/15/2025. We were told the soonest someone could come out to repair was 7/13. We were eventually able to get that service date moved up, but were told there would be a $1500 service fee. We cancelled that service date, LG rescheduled a new one for beginning of July, assuring us that we would not have to pay a service fee. Service date in July came and went, no one showed up. We were told to just wait for 7/13 - an entire month after our fridge went out. Service man came on 7/13, but didn't bring the correct part. We then had to wait 10 days for the part to arrive. LG offered us 3 free water filters if we repaired it ourselves, to which we declined. They were supposed to come out on 7/23 to fix it. When we called to find out what time they were coming, we were told that the service repair company was no longer available, so we rescheduled to 8/1. Today, 8/1, we got a text at 10:30 this morning saying once again service is no longer available today and we have to wait until 8/13. LG has not answered or returned our calls, is refusing to issue a refund and just keeps telling us to wait and that this part of their policy. When asked what their policy is, they cannot give an answer. This has been escalated to their presidential team, but even that representative is not communicating with us. We lost over $300 worth of food that we purchased the exact day the fridge went out. At this point it will be two months of a broken refrigerator and we have a young toddler and an infant at home. I could truly go on and on about how this has been the worst customer service - really any sort of service - that we have EVER experienced. We will never be purchasing an LG product again, and highly encourage others to look at other brands as this seems like a very common issue with LG.

We have purchased the following within the last 4 years from LG: dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, 86” smart TV, and washer/dryer. Dishwasher works, but the racks are all rusting and corroded. Very annoying. Refrigerator- ice maker on the bottom stopped working 2 years in. Stove- the oven portion stopped working 3 years in, flashing F9… won’t heat up past 100 degrees. Microwave works fine so far. The television turned blue color after 1.5 years of normal use, no damage on our end. Washer and dryer are 1.5-2 years old- work fine so far but small Loads will not dry completely. Overall, we wanted to support LG, but we cannot buy another appliance or electronic from this company due to all of the issues.

Four years ago we purchased an LG refrigerator. We did our due diligence and checked reviews and consumer reports. We chose the top rated product. When the unit stopped working we immediately contacted LG to schedule a repair. We have spent hours trying to work with LG and have them fulfill the warranty on this product (including our initial contact - 1.5 hours on live chat being strung along). We have spoken with multiple representatives including two supervisors. We have asked to talk with a manager who we were promised would call us back within 10-20 minutes - that was 9 days ago. The manager never called. We filed a BBB complaint and fairly quickly received a contact from LG who would be our representative throughout the remainder of this process. Our contact recently messaged us to confirm the repair has been completed. It has not. **There is a note on LG's website they have service technicians in 200 cities; but service may not be available in all areas. We never would have guessed one wouldn't be available in this area. The customer service (or lack of service) we have received from this company has been some of the worst we've ever encountered. (Two of the multiple associates we've been in contact with were nice just weren't/aren't able to help.) It did us no good to choose a product with a warranty when the company is unable or unwilling to do what it takes to fulfill the warranty. That this company seems to be okay with customers having a malfunctioning product for PERISHABLE items for days/weeks/months is baffling to me. If we could choose 0 stars we would. Though we will say when the product is working - it's great; we loved it. But after spending a pretty penny, having it FAIL after only 4 years with no one willing/able to service it, is unacceptable. Disappointed with LG.

I purchased a brand new LG washing machine from Lowe’s and in 2 WEEKS the washer was falling apart, LITERALLY! The rubber gasket around the washer cylinder that ensures the door is tightly sealed began to crumble. When I contacted Lowe’s they informed me they have a 48 hours return policy for large appliances. YES, 48 hours! And after 48 hours I would need to contact the manufacturer and use my manufacturer warranty. And while I think it is beyond crazy Lowe’s does not have a minimum of a 30 day return policy when large appliances are a bulk of their sales, I took their instructions and contacted LG. LG then tells me if I would like a replacement I need to work with Lowe’s because they would handle replacements. I am then transferred back to Lowe’s. Only to be told once again, they cannot help me. I call LG back and they tell me that I have to have the washer repaired. I explained to the gentleman I spoke with I am not comfortable with repairing a washing machine that is just two weeks old. The fact that this washing machine requires repairs leads me to believe there was something wrong with it when it was sold to me and I will continue to have issues with the machine. I also explained I was told washing machines should last 10 to 15 years and this would be my second LG washer within 5 years. And oddly enough, my last washer had the same issue, as well as the replacement gasket I purchased at $200 not including install before they told me I just needed to replace my entire machine a week after the repair and $400 later. I also find it interesting LG 9extended warranty) refused to cover the cost of the repair of my old machine that was not even 5 years old with the EXACT SAME issue AND called it “misuse”. It seems to me the concern is with the inferior materials LG is using to make the gaskets. All in all my husband has spent nearly $5K on washers and repairs in less than 5 years! Against my better judgement and after weeks of research,I purchased another LG because they still remained the best customer reviewed washing machines. Now I am stuck going round and round with Lowe’s and LG. This is not how I should be spending my holiday season!

My LG Styler broke down after just a few uses after its arrival in January, so I requested a repair in February. The technician was unable to fix it after two visits and then he disappeared. He never picked up his phone or replied to text messages. I called his office five times, but all they could do was to take notes and would give me a call back, which never happened. I then called LG to request another service provider. The customer representative canceled my previous repair request and created a new one. He told me that there was only one service provider available at my location, and I was assigned my previous terrible service provider again. A week has passed, and unsurprisingly I have not heard a single whisper from the service provider. Then they switched it to another provider, and no one has ever contacted me. Fast forward four months, LG finally authorized an exchange of my LG Styler as a result of their failure to find a service provider who could provide a repair. I received a text message with a link to submit a picture of the cut-in-half serial sticker on the machine and a shipping label for sending the original. Then, a subsequent text message arrived asking me not to do so until I received a call from LG. I scheduled a call two weeks ago, but LG did not call me at the scheduled time or any other time. I called LG again and was promised that I would receive a link for a video call. It has been a week and I have not received anything. The shipping label LG previously sent me has expired. I have made ~20 calls to LG and the service provider so far, and they have assigned me "escalation tickets" up and down. However, this issue is still not resolved since February (FIVE MONTHS AGO)! This has been the most horrendous experience I have ever had with customer support services. I certainly do not want to deal with anything related to LG again.
